Sound familiar?

The afternoons go fast. Don't let the iPad have them all.

You want them learning, focused and off the screen. But after pick-up, dinner and everything else, the iPad is the easy option. GeniusKids™ makes the better option just as easy.

You're not alone. In a national poll by the Royal Children's Hospital, parents ranked excessive screen time as the top child health concern. 1

The good news: the skills behind focus are learnable, and play with you is one of the best ways to build them.

Picture this instead

Imagine your afternoons like this.

  • The iPad goes away for 10 minutes and a pencil comes out.
  • Your child picks today's page and can't wait to show you.
  • You sit side by side and laugh at the tricky bits together.
  • They tick the box: I did it. You both feel it.
  • Tomorrow, same time, same table.

That's the whole idea behind GeniusKids™.

Why it works

Why 10 minutes of play works.

Focus, memory and self-control belong to a set of brain skills called executive function. Researchers at Harvard's Center on the Developing Child explain that children build these skills through practice and everyday interaction. 5

Short, regular, playful practice with you is exactly that. It's the whole idea behind GeniusKids™.
